Alright, I’ve been trying to install parrot security 4.6 for hours now. Regardless whether I tried to run the live mode or whether I tried to start the system after a fresh install, I always ended up with a freezing screen when parrot started this command:
IPv6: ADDRCONF(NETDEV_UP): wlan0: link is not ready
Just go into your bios settings and change the settings for boot “UEFI only” to “Both”. Now you hopefully have the option to decide between “UEFI first” and “Legacy first”. Set this to “Legacy first”.
This little settings change let me run the parrot live mode without getting stucked while booting up live and also let me run my installed parrot system without getting stucked while booting up into the system.
Hope this will help some of you
